About

aka: Who’s the girl behind the blog?

Hi, I’m Bella —
a junior in high school, aspiring neuroscientist, full-time overthinker, and part-time blazer-wearing business girl (thanks, DECA).

This blog? It’s called Mind & Medicine, but it’s also kind of just… me. My brain on a page. The chaos, the clarity, the caffeine. I started it because I wanted to document what it’s actually like to be in high school while chasing dreams that feel way too big — and figuring out how to make space for all the things I love along the way.

Yes, I’m obsessed with neuroscience and medicine. I’ve taken every health science course I can. I spend my weekends shadowing doctors, memorizing brain structures, and writing about the way the mind works because I genuinely think it’s magic.

But I also do DECA — and I kind of love it.
I’m in clubs. I run cross country. I persue research studies and cases. I make study guides at midnight and send “motivational” texts to my friends that are just me yelling at them to study.

And I’m still figuring it all out.
This blog is part journal, part resource, part late-night ramble — a place to document the in-between. The learning. The wins, the meltdowns, and all the notes I leave myself along the way.

Thanks for being here.

Let’s get into it.

I’m Bella

Mind & Medicine is my space to unpack it all —
The science. The self-growth. The messy middle.
Documenting the in-between of where I am and where I’m going.
